Christopher Columbus Park

Christopher Columbus Park is close to Faneuil Hall and right on the water.

Nice all season park.

In spring, the arbor is covered with purple wisteria flowers, in the summer leaves and vines create a nice shady walk, in the fall the leaves turn, and in the winter, it is cover in blue lights.

Additionally, there is a small rose garden (the Rose Kennedy Rose Garden), a gated play area (helpful for keeping little ones from running off), grassy areas, and benches including some that are right on the edge by the water where you can watch the gulls and boats.

There is a water play area for kids where they can push buttons and send water up in the air. (Late spring, summer only.) Look for the round concrete area.

I saw a review that said there was a dog run. There is no dog run but people do let their dogs run off lease. The owners pay attention to their animals and I've never seen any problems.

It's a pleasant spot for a picnic or to read a book.

There is WIFI available at the park.

*There are bathrooms near the play area as well as just outside the Marriott Hotel.
